UAE Impact-driven enterprise C3 earns B Corp Certification

C3 - Companies Creating Change – the UAE-based impact-driven enterprise – announces it has achieved B Corp certification.

C3 provides mission-driven founders with the knowledge and skills to drive their social and environmental impact – unlocking unique opportunities to achieve great growth through innovative impact solutions.  

The B Corp certification, awarded by B Lab - the leading global sustainability organization - is a rigorous, six-to-twelve-month assessment process recognizing businesses adhering to the highest standards of corporate governance, transparency, accountability, and social and environmental performance.

As a B Corp-certified business, C3 is part of a global community of businesses meeting the highest standards of social and environmental impact.

 To date, C3 has accelerated over 300 startups in the Middle East and Africa - of which 94% are still operational - addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and scaling their social and environmental impact regionally and globally. As a result of working with C3, 89% of founders have reported a growth in their understanding of impact and an increase in their founder performance and business skills. Standout companies that C3 supported include Desert Control, which successfully listed on Euronext in 2021, ONE MOTO, Hydrowind, and Almentor.

In the last decade, C3 has partnered with clients including HSBC, Accenture, Standard Chartered, Google, Engie, and Multichoice to design innovative accelerators and programs to empower startups and aspiring entrepreneurs in the Middle East and Africa.
