Top UAE social enterprises complete the 2017 edition of the C3 Impact Accelerator Program

After 6 months of collaborative work between top-UAE social enterprises and selected C3 experts, the 2017 edition of the C3 Social Impact Accelerator program culminated in a final event co-organized by C3 and BCG: the event included a pitch session, a workshop on governance run by our co-founder Anna-Liisa Goggs and a board simulation where BCGers and C3 experts acted as board members while social entrepreneurs set a board meeting agenda with real-life challenges to discuss.

The event ended with a completion ceremony to recognize the great work done together. “The C3 Social Impact Accelerator Program encouraged me to focus on governance and impact, aspects of an entrepreneur’s business that are essential to the long term viability of any social enterprise but that are often ignored when dealing with scaling and growing a business. C3 gave me easy-to-use tools that I have already started to see the value of in my business”, says one of the social entrepreneurs, Michele Grosso, CEO and co-founder at Democrance.
